    I wear knit back gloves and I got some with heavy palm padding that I liked. I as wering these out and I got some newer ones with less palm padding. These actually work better since the heavier padding pinches you thumb where it crosses the lever. And the leather itself is heavy enough to protect your palms in a fall.
    The all cloth gloves do not protect your hands enough though the pros use them. But they are so useless that pros are riding more and more without gloves which seems silly to me since they are crashing so much.
