I'm feeling good this morning in spite of some medical issues so I'll
be heading up around sunup. (0710). I hope to get another ride in
Monday or Tuesday, then I have more medical examination (sigh)
    scheduled for Wednesday.

Super great 25 mile ride this morning. Temperature was 75-85 degrees,
with humidity in the 70s. Not a drop of the scattered showers
predicted. Several days ago I quit a medication that was prescribed
for a condition that I didn't know I had until the doctor told me. It
really messed me up with conditions you don't want to hear about. My
last ride was slow and painful and I decided that I didn't need the
meds. Today's ride proved me right.

That is good news sometimes regardless we have to listen to the body.

This morning for me perfect. Was 76 at 5am I left house did 45 miles. No
wind at all the local windfarm generations not moving. Avoided going
around lake was dark at first and did not want to spook deer.

After my crash I had to add Carvedilol to my blood pressure meds and it
does have a real effect on my output. I cannot go as hard or long in
intervals but it does help the blood pressure so do as I do. I actually
get better during the ride and today my best miles of the 45 were the
last 10 really. I felt better and was able to push still.

Thursday they had the usual 10% chance of rain that at worse is a bare sprinkle but when I was going to feed the outside cat its bowl was filled with water. But no rain or mist on the way though the winds were exactly opposite to normal.

Mark, I usually don't listen to commercials pushing medicine. But there are two things to try - Resiliant markets "aged garlic pills". My chest stopped hurting me a little after I started taking them and over a month I lost 8 lbs. my riding is easier and my heart rate came down. They are also marketing a pill made from a specific cinnamin. Most cinnamin is not real. These pills are said to reduce A1C and stop type 2 diabetes. I am not diabetic but a low A1C will also help you lose weight.

I am taking about heart medication beta blockers. I don't have any
issues with diabetes thank you Lord. I don't need to lose weight as such
I am 6 foot 1 and weight 161 pounds. I am about where I want to be with
my weight. Lucky my weight is very stable over many years but I am

IrCOm same height or at least close enough! But quite a lot heavier not been your weight since I was in my early twenties! Genetics and lifestyle ie
work and leisure means even at a low body fat percentage IrCOd still be quite
a bit heavier probably below 200lb but not by much.

I haven't been near that weight (161 lbs) since I was in grade
school... maybe about 5th or 6th grade. I think I was around 180 lbs
when I was in Jr Hgh Football. I had to quit when I dislocated my
shoulder which still bothers me today.
