While some e-bikes are litle more than helper devices, there are now too many that can achieve 35 mph or more. And the people that are riding these don't know how to ride and cut corners so that someone coming in the opposite direction can be on the wrong side of the trail and the power bike going too fast to correct.
I wasz shocked a couple of weeks ago when I was driving in my lane at night and there was an e-scooter going 35 mph plus in the bike lane and the rider had dark clothing on. And it was a busy street with stupid drivers on it.
