• Modified and improved PVC Catrike front wheels lifter

Several months ago I straightened the frame and added a raised top
cross bar to make it easier to put on and take off. This last week I
changed the front cradle so it rotates out of the way. Transferring
the Catrike rear wheel first between truck and ground or the workstand
is painless, even for this soon_to_be 82 year old man with arthritis
    and back and shoulder trouble.

Great work can you suggest a stand for me to get mine good for
servicing. I have been doing it pretty much on the ground. I have only
had to lube chain and pump tires and did some tweaking of cable tension
on RD. When I need to do a serious thing I am going to have to come with
a plan. You sure put some good thought in the tubing system you use.

There's several trike workstands on the market.

But PVC is really easy to work with. It's cheap and sturdy, but you
can cut it with a hacksaw or a Dremel. There are lots of slip joint
connectors. The gluing is messy, but it's easy and holds very tight.
It's not really glue. You apply it and it sort of melts the pieces
together. It works so quickly that you have to work fast after you
apply it to the two pieces. Once it sets in 30 seconds or so, it's not
going to come apart. A Home Depot or a Lowes will have almost
everything you need but I had to go to an online supplier for the
    casters on my workstand.

My workstand is kind of complicated, but it doesn't have to be.

    Google recumbent trike work stands..

I tend to get carried away with my projects. As soon as I finish, I
start looking for ways I could make it better.

I built mine so I could store a second trike, my wife's, underneath.
