• Ride this morning

I got out early this morning before the heat. Got my 30 miles in by
10:20. Average speed 11.7 MPH. It looks like a week of rainy days
coming up so it may be a while before I get out again. It's OK. I've
got a number of things I need to do.

    +1

We north central riders usually freeze for a good portion of
the year followed by an all-too-short summer. This summer
    has been absolutely perfect!

Early mornings are best time of day. I seldom sleep past 4 AM. I've
got no lights on the Catrike, but I sometimes do take walks early
    morning in the dark.

I kinda forget how South America is, admittedly your very South, and hence
have shorter daylight in the summer, itrCOs twilight 4:15 and sun is up at
5am, and not dark until past 9, in winter be dark by 4pm. And not light til 8am.

    Hence I have decent lights!

Minneapolis was my southern-most place of living, New Orleans the
furthest South I've been (beating Tunesia and LA by 4 degrees).
