In Germany, I had a "wonderful cool" ride to work today:

After 11 days of heat wave (Friday night minimum was way above 80, last
night it finally dropped below 80 around 1 AM), today's maximum is below
    80F again.

My body told me that keeping pulse below 100 for now might be a
meaningful idea after a week hiding inside.

At the beginning of the heat wave I learned that temperature
measurements on the wrist are pointless even if the watch logs it by
default: data points above 100 are more likely due to direct sun on the
wrist, realistically the afternoon temperatures were just above 95 (hot
enough to accidentially stop the watch tracking after 50 miles of a 60
mile ride, so Strava has the last miles without pulse data).

The last 3 mornings tell me summer is here. Has been very humid with
high dew point. I get out at around 5am and it is about 73 dgrees. Not
much wind but been hauling the Catrike at impressive speeds for me. Set
my PR 3 days ago for 40 miles at 14.8 mph. I have finally got the
correct spinning technique down that allows better power. Going uphill
though on a trike will always be slower with contact points of 3 and
about 15 more pounds. In sprint today slight downgrade and tailwind I
got to 27.2 mph. I think on 2 wheels the equivalent would be around
    30-31ish.
