    on your ass....

Liam Slock of Lotto-Intermarch|- won the GP Gippingenin in Switzerland
last weekend, and crashed while crossing the finish line after raising
his arms in victory. Luckily he had enough momentum and actually slid
across the line on his ass with enough of a gap that his two break-away companions still were just a fraction of a second behind.

Slock isn't some local hack or newb at a continental pro-am event. This
was a UCI Pro 1.1 level race with six World Cup teams represented, and
his two break-away companions were Aleksandr Vlasov of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe and Richard Carapaz of EF Education-EasyPost.

Slock stated "Luckily the win came with it, otherwise this would
probably have been the fail of the year"

A rider at a PBP race: He stopped, went into a pub and came out with a
large wide glass of Belgian Ale. Now that's living!
