On my bike ride last Sunday I encountered a kid on a e-powered skate
board. I had to wonder how good he was at controlling the thing as I
met him on the 8 foot wide bike path. He was probably moving at 10 or
12 MPH. The only way he could steer it was by leaning and I doubt it
had any brakes. On my return trip on the Starkey Park trail I came
across a old fellow pushing his very heavy looking fat tired e-bike. I stopped to ask him if he was OK. He said he had a flat tire, his
battery had died, and he couldn't pedal it. The tire looked to be
shredded. I told him I'd send one the park rangers out in one of their
golf carts to get him, which I did. The damned electric stuff is
really taking over the bike trails around here.

IAve seen rarely E skateboards normal adults since they are expensive bits

In fairness to the E moto folks had a few offers as they had an electric
pump as my old commuter had a puncture last week, tyre almost made it to
10k!
I used one of the Hire bikes last week, which is a E bike, as well though >might be fun to try, IAd forgotten how ungainly such bikes are, not helped

CanAt say IAd be rushing to use one again but interesting nevertheless, and >clearly itAs quite a bit slower than both of my commute bikes!

Fixing the old guy's tire wouldn't have helped him because he couldn't peddled that heavy thing even with good tires, and it didn't look
fixable anyway.
