• Doctor declared my ear infection is done.

Yesterday, after driving an hour to his office in downtown Tampa, the
doctor flushed out the remaining powder and my hearing and balance was
restored to it's pre-infection status. A month after he lanced the
infection swelling, flushed it, and coated my ear canal with medicated
    powder, the infection is gone.

My hearing and balance is far from perfect, but I walked out of the
doctor's office with no need of a cane. I suspect people will be less
likely to open doors for me and grocery baggers will be less likely to
ask if I need help loading groceries in the truck. A collapsable cane
will still be standard eqiupment on the Catrike rides.

Rain predicted here for the next several days, so no rides scheduled.

That sounds great. It is funny we can ride trikes pretty hard and long
yet some ordinary activities can be difficult.
