Today I was finally able to ride the Catrike outside and only have a
short sleeve jersey and shorts. I had been in a Gor Tex jacket or at
least a long sleeved insulated thermal wear and running pants.

I wore cycling shorts and the basic riders jersey it was 65 degrees
leaving the house at 4:32am. YOu actually don't need cycling shorts on a catrick but using them makes sense more aero and I have a lot of them.

It was a bit on the wind side so I stayed in the 5 mile loop and did 41
miles at 13.4 mph. The last 2.5 miles were into the south wind and a
decent hill or I probably would have been a 13.5 or 13.6

If I could just get a bit more upright I can open my diaphragm more and
today I put a pad down on the seat to see how it would work. It was
better. I think if I can get some foam and cut a wedge that sits me up a
bit more I can grab air better and move faster. As much as the Catrike
is aero and being in the 25 degree angle it works against me for
breathing. I am getting better will adapt more I think but have to get
some wedge material and see what happens.
