Today and the past 2 rides I notice the rear shifting at times up
shifting it would jump a gear at times not fall correct. This is sram
lever with index shifting. Previous to this never used Sram but really
it is fine. The big ring in front has been perfect with the triple.

So getting done I notice the chain had jumped out of the front
tensioner. I guess they call this a chain gobbler. It would still
actually work the bike but not going through the upper pulley but beside
it naturally would make shifting less than ideal. So I put it back in
the in pulley ring and I still thought the chain seemed a bit loose for
the middle ring and in maybe 3-4 gear from lock ring.

I then added some tension to the rear derailleur B tension screw and
that at least looked a lot better. Then pulled up the rear and went
through all the gears. Bingo it seem to shift just perfect in all gears.
I have to hang a bungee chord on the rear to lift up the back end but
that works for checking. I think frankly unlike a standard 2 wheeler
where you really want the cog as close to cassette as you can get it
without bumping, the Catrike likes a bit of room.

Does anyone else think that might be true given you can cross chain a
Catrike with no real worries as the angle is so different.

The B setting on my Expedition puts the derailleur top cog about 5 MM
from the the big ring (36T) which I think is about the standard
    setting.

I don't have a front tension device. I think those are primarily for
the ability to move the boom in and out.
