• Where's May?

Frost again this morning and, after coffee just now, it's
    snowing.
Merely flurries, and not sticking, but discouraging for May.

90 is too hot.. I'm planning to ride early tomorrow morning in the
low 80s. There's a slight chance of rain, but it will feel good when
    when it's over 80 degrees.

One forecast, for the left coast, predicts that the next 7 days will
    be quite hot:
"California Weather: Major Heat Coming!" <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh08hsuA9W8> (7:23)

At night, it's been in the low 60F region, which was sufficient to run
the wood burner going to keep me warm at night. Yes, I know I'm
spoiled rotten. Last night was the first night that I did not have a
fire going in the last few months. Various signs seem to indicate
that spring is here (chain saw noises, construction noises, minor
    traffic jams, etc).

40 degrees this morning stayed inside on trainer. May has started cold.

We have a heat wave on the way. I'm sure you'll get it.

Waited 35 years for Global Warming so any time now would be
    nice.

Today a lot better but still only 48 degrees but no real wind. The
Catrike out for 40 miles managed to average 13.9 mph for me that is ok.
What I once did 50 miles in I now do as a 40 miler on the Catrike. I am getting a bit more the hand of using the legs differently than upright 2 wheels. If I could just sustain the motion but going to take work and concentration. Hopefully it will be automatic but who knows. I wish it
    was 84 here.
