    Its not unexpected that something that walks and quacks like a moped, even
    the legal stuff in the US is by any reasonable definition a moped, and
    older mopeds had pedals my mum was bought one to get to the train station,
    it apparently used to cut out up the hills of Sussex so she would end up
    with a heavy bike to pedal up said hill, she didnrCOt understandably love it!

    But such mopeds in all but name, will have moped alike casualty rates.

    Probably exasperated by US very car centric infrastructure, ie folks
    justify that they need to be able to travel at 20/28mph.
