I got a call from my latest ear doctor's office today on the ride.Excellent news and the thing is keep riding.
They reported that analysis of the biopsy showed no cancer, it was
just a very nasty infection. He has some antibiotic stuff stuffed into
that ear that renders it totally deaf, even with the bone conduction
headset. Hopefully, when I check back in with him next month and he
takes it out, the infection will be gone. At any rate, there was no
problem riding today.
It's going to take a while to get my cycling mojo back after so little
riding the last two months, but I've started with 25 miles this
morning. 25 miles was enough for me to feel it in my legs. I'll go
again in a couple days. I hope to be doing 30 miles two or three times
a week.

Indeed glad to hear your getting back to riding and all of the
enjoyment of that.
