A person riding an e-bike was killed in a hit-and-run crash with an
unknown vehicle near the intersection of 36th Street and 5th Avenue in L.A.rCOs Jefferson Park neighborhood Saturday.

The crash happened around 11 p.m., a spokesperson with the Los Angeles
Police Department told KTLA 5 News. The person on the bike was ejected
and landed on a parked car. The cyclist, approximately 48 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver did not remain at the scene of the crash, police said. No
suspects have been arrested in the case.
