So to give example this is today's ride on Strava. I road the Catrike as
it says. I did a loop that is 1.7 miles around a golf course. I do this
at times because it is very windy here today 15 plus MPH. Live close by
so I start at home on the Trike.
I did a 6.5 mile warm up on the indoor trainer before I will post that
ride too as it looks much different. I have a power meter and I am
riding upright which I can generate more power and breath better than
the Trike. I am getting more acclimated to the recumbent position. I
cannot dig in and get my HR nearly as high and my lungs don' expand as
much.
It may seem boring to do this about 15 laps plus the distance there and
back, however it is a gradual hill up and down. It makes for a real interesting ride. With the wind going downhill I can have gotten so far
26mph as record. I could go faster as I get better with Catrike. On my
regular road bike I have a personal recording going down that hill
around 34mph. Here you go.
