Pretty decent today 47 degrees and no wind, but wind is less of an issue
on the Catrike. Did my around the lake first time since the crash and
return to the scene of the crime. Managed 31 miles in 2:18 minutes about
13.5 mph so not as fast as 2 wheels. The biggest difference in speed is
having really slow at intersections. You have to watch for traffic
better as no sitting up seeing more of the world.

I still have not gotten into much of a rhythm as such based on no
planted ass in the saddle. The cranks are 165 which I believe standard
for trikes but to me I wish it was longer. I basically only used the big
ring no need for anything else. No place to mount my Garmin 945 Watch
that I can see. Still breathing an issue sitting up because it is not
    same position.

IrCOd assume itrCOs also getting used to the bike, plus fairly serious injuries so takes time to recover and all that in my experience. Gives one a goal
and all that, if thatrCOs your bag, average speed personally tends to be
11mph give or take, but the intensity can vary wildly from rCLparty pacerCY to full on, as the terrain is so variable as my riding is generally off road,
or commuting and so lots of external factors.

There possibly is a clearance issue hence the shorter cranks though that is very on trend at the moment, as to if and advantages are more than that
    time will tell!

It was chilly about 52 degrees and windy at 14mph. I took the Catrike
out and did 30 miles in my loops. Could only average 12.6 mph. It tell
you the position on the trike I cannot pull a full breath. That has
gotten bit better but far from gone. My reaction to getting better is to simply slow down pedaling till I can breath easier and then pick it up.

Previously I was pedaling harder then I stop a coast awhile. It makes
uphills much more challenging. I cannot get my HR up due to cardio is
fine but delivery system produces lactate in legs quicker. I average
only 94 BPM riding the trike I did manage the highest HR at 151 which is
    ok as such.

However, I got home and climbed on the indoor trainer. Did 10 miles at
115 BPM average and 110 normaized power. HR much high but not stressed
breath at all and it fast than the trike riding. I did managed to get to
    26mph tops today.
