NEWPORT BEACH, CA u A Corona man was arrested this week in connection
with a road rage incident involving aggressive drivers and two
    competitive cyclists in Orange County.

The suspect, identified as Samir Weiss, is in custody after a search
warrant was served at his Corona home Thursday night, according to the
    Newport Beach Police Department.

Officers also seized a blue BMW M3 from Weiss's home.

The March 21 incident happened while cyclists Ben Byra and Luke Fetzer
were training for a Sunday race along Pacific Coast Highway and Bayshore
    Drive in Newport Beach.

The dramatic footage published to Byra's social media account shows the
driver of a blue BMW driving in the road's bike lane and coming up
    behind one of the cyclists.

The video shows the BMW driving within striking distance of the bike's
    rear wheel.

The video then shows Byra bunny hop onto the curb in an effort to get
    out of the BMW's path.

The video shows the driver immediately speeding up and getting within
    striking distance of Fetzer.

Byra told KTLA that the person driving the blue BMW wasn't the only
aggressive driver on the road that day.

A person behind the wheel of a red-and-black Corvette joined in verbally
on the attack, calling the cyclists homophobic slurs as they sped by,
    Byra said.

"WeAre just riding single file," Fetzer told KTLA. "Ben is behind me.
IAm in front of him and he comes up to us and starts laying on the horn
and his buddy yells out the side window."

Newport Beach police officers took an incident report, but the status of
the ongoing investigation was not immediately known.

According to other witnesses, the cyclists were riding in the middle of
the road, weaving in and out of the bike lane and impeding traffic for
    no discernable reason.

    Change the bike laws.

News flash, you ignorant piece of shit, Cyclists pay road taxes just
like you and your ignorant red-neck friends, we all have cars as well as
    you.

Secondly, the little tag line "according to witnesses..." you put at the
end of this is of your own creation. There were no witnesses that
claimed any such thing, and that sentence doesn't appear in the report
    you linked.
