So, I downloaded and installed Sims 3 island paradise after I downloaded Sims 3 and had been playing Sims 3 for awhile. It said it was downloaded and installed fine but when I clicked on the button to play it, the Sims 3 launcher showed up instead of the Sims 3 island paradise. I tried all I can, reloaded and installed then reinstalled but nothings working. I checked the internet to find the answer but nothings working. I really need help!!!! Please response ASAP (I have a Macbook pro by the way)
Delete the Origin client and redownload it. The latest version can be downloaded from here:
Now read the guide on how to cleanly uninstall the game and follow it. When you uninstall TS3 games on your Mac using the uninstaller, the game leaves behind stray files and isn't completely removed from your computer. These files may conflict with future installations. After cleanly uninstalling, install the base game and patch it up to date. If you cannot update via the Launcher, download and apply the latest cumulative manual patch (called the superpatch) for Mac. You want to reach level 1.63.
