    They are trying to hike the TV ratings by hyping all the pre-race gossip. Once the follow the leader race begins , people either fall asleep or turn it off.

    I used to actually like pre-race when it was only 30min to one hour tops! Talk to a few drivers in the pits, pre-race ceremonies,
