I am very happy for Lewis to finally get his first Ferrari win in the bag.
I got a little bit choked up tbh... Well deserved, Ferrari seem to have
put together a great package for these new regulations. Shame Charles is
having a run of bad luck, they could be on for Constructors' fight with
Merc if he can shake off this bad form.

It's turning into a really decent season, I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

I completely agree - this season has been a lot of fun.

Ferrari's not "my team" but while Williams is out there Williamsing,
they're the ones I'm hoping can put on a run to challenge Merc.

There's a lot I'm not a fan of regarding the story, I have no time for
the company he keeps when he's not racing, and if Ferrari was on fire I wouldn't even piss on it to put it out, but he's definitely deserved
this win, and I couldn't be happier for him because of it.

I don't think you can say Ferrari have had particularly bad luck with
CL, all of the top teams have had some unfortunate setbacks this season.
Did you not notice Kimi today, for example?

Lewis has been at Ferrari long enough now to be taken seriously. After Miami he told the team that
he was no longer going to use the Sim for set-up information and just go by the seat of his pants
and what he experienced in the car. Canada and Monaco then resulted in second places.

After Monaco Charles said to the team that from now on he wants his car set up the same as Lewis'
car. It might take him a while to get used to the new set up though. Shame about his results in
Barcelona. Hopefully he gets to grips with the new direction, he seems like a decent bloke.

Of course the updates that Ferrari bought to the latest GP also helped but a lot of Lewis'
resurgence was (IMO) having the confidence to ignore Sim data and then have the team and Charles
support him even more when he turned out to be right. The results that have come from his decision
have almost resulted in Lewis becoming Ferrari's number one driver.

I'm not a Ferrari fan but I am a Lewis fan as well and a Fred fan.

    Yep, for sure.

Yes, it has been a very obvious change - Lewis has taken control and he's
now leading the whole operation to victory. Beautiful to see!

I'm still not a Ferrari fan, per se, but Lewis and Fred - love 'em!

And an all British podium for the first time...

    ...since 1968!

I can't say that I'm a big fan of Hamilton, but I hate seeing anyone who

    Good on him!

Yup. I'm a Lewis fan, always have been, but even drivers that I dislike -
when they get a good result against the odds I do feel happy for them
    (most of the time...).

It was great seeing what seemed like practically every driver come by to congratulate him after the race.
