• please confirm my cat5 mic wiring set up

After several weeks since my prior post, I am finally back to the
microphone project. The two electret capsules will be located about 30
feet away from the recorder and I am ready to configure the mic to
recorder wiring as star quad as Liz T suggested. However, as she and I corresponded about a mono set up, I will actually be using stereo. Here
is what I believe is the correct wiring set up and please by all means
correct me if I am wrong:

I have some clip on toroids on the way in case there are any noise issues.

    Thanks again for your help.

Please IGNORE prior post, really sorry, as these capsules are two
terminal each and not three. This is how I had planned on wiring these up:

Will ad the clip on toroids if needed.

Please confirm once again and thanks for your help.

Sorry, try this one, says it works in the UK:

    https://postimg.cc/GHnPgnYR

Just for clarification, this is the endpoints of around 30 feet of cat5
cable, wired star quad, for two electrode, two electret capsules to be operated stereo. 1/8" stereo jack at the end opposite the capsules.

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, forgot to mention that the cat5 I have is non-shielded, just has
the four wire pairs inside the jacket.

That's not how I would have wired it - but I had been assuming two
4-wire cables, one for each capsule.

The text on that drawing does not mention the vital point that the
inputs to the amplifier must be balanced if the cable is going to work
as starquad - in fact point 3 suggests to me that they aren't balanced
at all, as any grounding must be completley separate from the signal
wires and should not be connected to the capsules.

You might get an accepatable result by following those instructions, but
that isn't the right way to use starquad. As you have spare cable, you
could try it and see, leaving a bit extra so you can cut off and re-make
the terminations if you need to change them.
