I would personally like to thank Facebook, Twitter,

I hate to tell you this, but it has a lot more to do with the million-plus

Apps? Just get a newsreader and an account on a legitimate news provider like
people have been telling you to do for the past decade. You will find it is FAR more pleasant than fighting with the horrible Google Groups interface.

This pleasure is experienced by the remaining few dozends of readers and writers which a typical usenet group still has.

There are web interfaces for text usenet.

One of the few frontiers of FREE speech ("hate" is free speech also) is
usenet. Fediverse is largely a 'free' 'thinker' echo chamber with most
having "allows free speech" as the PRIMARY BLOCK-list of other
    instances. yikes.

No-backsies is best. X ought to disable both edit and delete for
organizations and persons claiming to provide news, represent citizens,
    NGOs, or pontificating celebrities.

After google abandoned Don't Be Evil their model switched to
privacy-raping as profit. Happy to see them die.

Stop using services whose ToS is "you agree we are the sole arbiters of
    truth".

As an adult your options are engage or ignore. Trying to democratize banishment is foolish.

I have had success posting on NOSTR. It is uncensorable, being based on
a decentralized network of relays. And it is growing.

There are many ways to access MOSTR -- as it is a protocol, not a
platform. Perhaps the easiest is through primal.net and the Primal app.
But once you get on there, there are many discussions about other apps
    and means of access.

I must admit I haven't found any pro audio discussions there yet, but
the protocol is still quite young.

    With all good wishes,

    Kevin.
