On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) was intended to feel as familiar
as possible, even though it's the first replacement actor for Sean
Connery. John Barry takes all the famiiar themes and chord changes he's
been using since Dr. No and comes up with an all new take. For once,
producers don't insist that the title be sung as a lyric in the nain
title theme, so we get an instrumental main title that's just wonderful.
And a famus soung, "All the Time in the World" illustrating the love
story of Bond and Tracy that will be Louis Armtrong's final professional engagement
The main title theme is at 5:00.
