Since the weekend, I have gone through:

House of the Dragon (HBO Max) - Season 3. As advertised, season #3 was a
vast improvement over season #2 (there was pretty much nowhere to go but
up!). But this was a lot closer to "class" "Game of Thrones" territory
with both lots of good battles and lots of intrigue. (Hard to say if
they got notes from the network to "punch it up", or they just naturally
got to the better parts of the book the series is adapted from...)
I also could not tell you how close this is hewing to the work it is adapted from - clearly, author George RR Martin thinks it's not nearly
close enough (and, on the Alicent front, I am inclined to suspect Martin
    is right...).
But the stuff that happens in season #3 all seems consequential -
for example, major characters from the first two seasons actually die in S3.
Lots of good stuff here - a good villain, some good side characters,
etc. The one thing I didn't like (someone who should be dead, but who
isn't), I suspect is also because of what's in the book - I doubt the TV
show would make a change this big.
The one comment I will make: The first half of the season seemed
better than the second half - the second half seemed a lot darker
(again, maybe because of the work it's based on?...)
Anyway, looking forward to season #4 as they've promised to wrap
this all up in season #4. I am curious to see where this all ends up.

I haven't watched much else besides soaps (and golf). I did watch one
    thing on Tubi:

Lake Dead (Tubi) - 2007 horror/slasher flick. From the good old days
when movies like this used to have gratuitous sex and naked nudity!
Considering what this was, it actually wasn't terrible - it sports a 4.1/10 on IMDb, and that seems about right. I mean, they actually got
Pat McNeely and Dan Woods to do this, so the cast wasn't all a bunch of nobodies!
Anyway, a group of young hotties, centered around 3 sisters (Kelsey Wedeen, Vanessa Viola, and Tara Gerard (who mostly appears separately)),
head up to a remote motel that this sisters just inherited.
Unfortunately for them, the motel is also a magnet from a couple of
inbred brothers who love to kill coeds! Murderous wackiness ensues, and
for the dumbest reason you can imagine!!

I guess I'm sampling Reality TV, because I tried The Ugliest
House in America. It was more entertaining that I expected. The
host is very personable; I liked her a lot.

The houses are submitted by their own owners, so nobody's being
picked on. The house deemed ugliest will get $150,000 of
renovations, but the renovations are done by the show's team, not
chosen by the homeowners. The homeowners did have lots of input,
though, and the team seemed to be trying to help.

The first house was one of those hobbit-style houses, old and
fallen into disrepair. There was a lot to like. I was especially
charmed by the kid-size tunnel between the two kids' rooms.
Unfortunately, almost everything had stopped working, but the
    house really wasn't ugly underneath.

The second one was a little hard to describe, but it was
    definitely ugly.

The third was a repurposed bank, and some of the bank stuff was
still in it. There was a counter for writing checks, and some of
the teller windows were still in place. That definitely made the
    place ugly.

    Hey, thanks for asking.

I am waiting for the next episode of THE snARK to drop on the Plex.
Meanwhile, IrCOll look up that Tubi movie you mentioned. Thanks!

With some actresses, you never see their natural hair color. With her,
several of her more memorable roles, her skin color was quite
    artificial indeed.

Well, LAKE DEAD killed the girl I liked before she got a chance to take her clothes off. I lost interest after that. But I added a lot of old movies to
