• Historic Cinerama Dome to Re-Open; Communist Takes Credit for It

The fabled Cinerama Dome on Sunset Boulevard, which was operated by ArcLight Cinemas until Gavin Newsom bankrupted them with his Wuhan Flu restrictions, is set to re-open as an Alamo Drafthouse.

And of course, our communist mayor, who spent her youth gazing lovingly up at Fidel Castro and helping to lead the Vinceramos Brigade-- an anti-American terrorist group-- is trying to take credit for it.

I have a friend in the industry who tells a story about how three months after she was elected, Comrade Bass spoke at one of the industry guilds. "She
clearly knew nothing about the film industry, I mean nothing. It was
shocking." At one point she asked that film productions give jobs to homeless people-- because that would "would really help me out" politically.

What kind of idiot walks into a room of mostly out-of-work people, in an industry that is collapsing upon itself, that stands-up productions with limited time and money, where a mistake from an inexperienced worker can cost both lives and hundreds of thousands of dollars, and suggest that unskilled, drug-addled, mentally ill homeless people should be employed instead of the guild members who work for years to qualify for those jobs?

And yet these same unions will throw millions of dollars at her election campaigns. I guess they deserve what they get.

Will there be films projected or not? I've always wanted to see cinerama projected there.
