Retro Cartoon Dude examines the 1967 series featuring an American
leader with dual identities and superpowers. The analysis focuses on
the show's implausible secret identity concept, bizarre character
designs, and the questionable logic behind the protagonist's adventures
while carrying out official state duties.

This sounds like a hilarious cartoon for college students to watch while drinking.

According to the Retro Cartoon Dude, this cartoon got a lot of flack
for coming out so soon after JFK was assassinated, especially the
part of Super president being bullet-proof.

Yeah, I thought that was interesting. People used to expect more
    respect.

If Super President was bulletproof, why did he keep dodging
projectiles? Maybe it's for the same reason he had a jet even
    though he could fly.

I love how the Veep is his sidekick without having a super
identity of his own. You'd think he could have put together a
Veep Man costume, even if it was just a different suit. Then
again, it seems to work okay as it is.
