Evil Dead Burn (theatrical) Sixth entry in the Evil Dead franchise.
Although it is directly connected to all the movies in the franchise,
this one more closely follows the events of 2013's "Evil Dead" and
2023's "Evil Dead Rise." This time around the dead who happen to be
evil aren't waiting around for anyone to say an incantation or play a
recording of one. The dead who happen to be evil are on the warpath
against a specific family who are standing in their way. This is an
excellent entry in the franchise, and like the last two, it drops all
humor and replaces it with hard core gore and violence. I think I spent >> half the movie with my eyes closed. This one also breaks a couple of
taboos that even the hardest of hard-core horror movies usually won't break.

Cool. I saw the poster for this the other day. I may have to go to the movies next week.

I just watched this last night and it was refreshing to actually have a hard-R horror flick that doesn't hold back. Very much enjoyed this installment.

Although, I disagree with your observation that the dead who happen to be evil weren't waiting around for anyone to say an incantation. The both the Lady of the Lake and the hot girlfriend of the younger son both said the incantation which brought the demons down on them.
