With many thousands of foreigners visiting America this summer for the
FIFA games and America's 250th birthday, a lot of people who have only
seen America previously through their media are now observing it with
their own two eyes - and loving it! Bill Maher comments on this
phenomenon and gives many examples.

There are Facebook videos of tourists running around Costco screaming free samples and you can get food in the same store you can get a dishwasher?
The whole experience has been a major eye-opener for everyone: the
foreigners are astonished that at everything your country offers and
Americans are astonished that other countries don't have the same
things. You're starting to see that the things you take for granted are
not universal and often aren't available in other advanced Western
countries. Here's hoping it makes every American appreciate what they
have more and inspires the foreigners to push their own countries for
the same sorts of freedoms.
