Verily, in article <UBI20260701@dont-email.me>, did weberm@polaris.net
    deliver unto us this message:

    On D&D night, I watched:

    Nothing.

    What did you watch?

I'm still watching Upload, but it's starting to sag. I'm still enjoying
it, though, so I plan to keep going.

I only had Prime in Athens, but now that I'm back home, I can resume
    Best Medicine as well.

    Hey, thanks for asking!

STRAW DOGS, the original film with the delightfully naked Susan George.
IrCOve never liked this movie, but I like Susan George, naked.

STRAW DOGS, the pathetic remake dumped down although itrCOs almost Word for Word with a completely not naked Kate Bosworth. I absolutely hate this
    movie.

DOCTOR JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE, a version I never knew existed with Michael
Caine and a surprisingly good Cheryl Ladd telling a completely new story
around the already known events with a completely obvious four hours
earlier surprise ending. There are some serious story and timeline problems here.

JACK THE RIPPER, with Michael Caine again as the detective chasing him. Presented as a pseudo documentary. Not really interesting, but I always
    love Michael Caine.

I don't think I've ever watched any version of Jekyll and Hyde before, although I have watched movies that featured the character.

    Sounds like a good pairing.

I have "From Hell" on my watch list. That is pretty good version of the story. A while back I had planned on watching the always enjoyable
"Time After Time" but I couldn't find the disc.

I own a little over 6,000 movies/TV shows, and I have them on shelves in alphabetical order. That movie is not in the "Time" section or anywhere
else I've looked. This has happened before and I will eventually find
the movie sitting in the wrong spot. But it is *very* frustrating when
I look up and down the shelves and just don't see the disc anywhere.

    On Wednesday I watched:

The Book of Life (Disney+) 2014 Fox animated jukebox musical set around
the Mexican "Day of the Dead" festival. The story revolves around a man
who breaks with family traditional due to his love of music. He winds
up in the afterlife where everyone looks like skeletons. He wants to
get back to the world of the living to be reunited with his true love. Meh!

Coco (4K disc) 2017 Pixar animated musical set around the Mexican "Day
of the Dead" festival. The story revolves around a boy who breaks with
family traditional due to his love of music. He winds up in the
afterlife where everyone looks like skeletons. He wants to get back to
the world of the living. You know, I could have sworn I just watched
another movie with the same exact plot.
I remember when "Coco" came out that in spite of the great reviews I had almost no interest in watching it because I had watched "The Book of
Life" didn't care for it, and this seemed like it would be a rip off of
that movie. Then I broke down and saw Coco in the theater and really
liked it. This is my first time pairing "The Book of Life" and "Coco"
and my second time watching each movie. And once again, "Coco" held up
as a great movie. Plus, I had completely forgotten the plot and was
very pleasantly surprised by the twists and turns that I didn't see coming.

I think the thing with "Coco" is there is an emotional story arc,
characters you actually care about, and even a solid villain in the
third act of the movie. "The Book of Life" has none of that.

I don't think I've ever watched any version of Jekyll and Hyde before, although I have watched movies that featured the character.

Wiki says there are over 120 plays and movies adapting it. ThererCOs a one season TV series thatrCOs a hoot and a half and a stage play musical movie version featuring David Hasselhoff.

    ThatrCOs a good one

Without much finagling, you could claim that Mary Steenbergen plays
versions of the same character in both time after time and back to the
    future three.

Next time yourCOre airing day of the dead shows, you should include the wild Thornberrys version. IrCOm a credited timer on it.

    Jess Golz?

Captain NemorCys library on the Nautilus was in what appeared to be
completely random order, not even sorted by language, implying that he read
    all of them equally well.
