show that?s not dead. Either the character on screen or the actor off

Yeah, she died once before. It slowed her down for a while, but she recovered completely.

Did she re-die at the end? I don't even remember that. In my memory,
they activated the potential slayers and tooled off to live their lives. Didn't Giles say something about "another hellmouth in Chicago," to
general laughter? I think she's currently alive as far as we know.

Cordy had a bad run on Angel after Buffy.
She seduced a child, had her hair chewed off by weasels, bleached it for
good measure, ended up in a coma, got better and came back, except it
turned out she was a ghost and had died in the coma. WasnrCOt seen again to
my recollection.
