• Supreme Court does not make mail-inballots unconstitutional

Mississippi election law allows mailpinballots to be counted if
postmarked by election day and received within 5 days. In Watson v. RNC, Barrett upheld the law. She was joined by Roberts, Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson.

    I am relieved.

btw, it was pointed out that low population density western states began expanding mail-in voting because voters may be quite far from polling
sites even if they are not out of town. Any Republican claiming that
mail-in voting benefits Democrats is a lying poopiehead.

I got my mail in ballot today. The last I heard I could not only never vote again. I wasnrCOt even a citizen because the DMV had lost all my records. Apparently, they fixed it while I was in the hospital.

    Hahahahahaha

    Paul Clement is a Chicagoist!

Clement was hired to advocate for the Republican Party as their
appellate attorney. I listened to the audio transcript of oral arguments yesterday. "I don't want to suggest that there's voting fraud in
    Chicago, but . . . "

    He pointed out, correctly, that there are window clerks at the main Chicago post office till midnight. He said, incorrectly, that polls close at 8 pm;
they close at 7 pm. If news reports that there is a specific race that's
close, it would be possible to take a mail-in ballot to that post office,
get the clerk to apply the round date stamp, and have a day-of election postmark even though the ballot has been mailed in after polls closed.

It's nationwide policy to keep one retail window open till midnight in
    a major metropolitan area.

The ruling is a mistake in that it stretches out "election day" well
past that day. It's ruining the legiitamacy of our elections. Look
at California and them taking weeks to announce a winner. Few people
believe they aren't playing with the results.

even fewer people believe you have any functioning brain cells.

obrat: you probably think Scott Baio and Dean Cain are
    good actors.

The Democrat fraud machine in L.A. is safe!

Mail-in combined with the "make any scribbly mark if you're disabled" and ballot harvesting, they'll never lose an election again.

C'mon. Your county is unable to count ballots already received by
election day on a timely basis. Nothing to do with any received later.

If they'd all stop doing the Carnac the Magnificent routine with each
envelope, the counting would be faster!

IrCOm not sure the ballots even get as far as the county. They seem to disappear between the post office and the mailbox and then magically
reappear on fire in the desert.
