The headquarters of the European Commission literally shut off air-conditioning in their building but only for floors 1-7, where people of lower rank work.

The European Commission's headquarters was forced to shut down its air-conditioning system on Friday due to a heat wave stalled over Europe.
Staff working at the Berlaymont building received a text at midday reading: "BERL - URGENT - Due to extreme weather conditions, forced shutdown of air cooling system from floor 1 to 7 for the rest of the day."
The 13-story building is home to Commission President Ursula von Der Leyen, her 26 commissioners and about 3000 staff. Von Der Leyen works on the 13th floor and most of her commissioner's offices are housed on floors eight and above.
--------------------
(Look at that grinning ghoul Von der Leyen. She's one of the ones constantly trying to get you to eat bugs and own nothing and be happy about it.)
Like all good collectivists, the elites on the top floors remain climatized, dictating policy from their lavish ice-cold offices, while the proles on the lower floors cook in the brutal heat, stinking of turnips and filth. The only thing Von der Leyen regrets is that there wasn't a breadline out in the sun to
which she could relegate them. How very communist of them, every fucking time.
[I may have to delete this post. It appears to violate the GDPR by exposing the Commission's confidential Heat Equity Framework, under which senior officials receive AC while staff on the lower floors are invited to embody European resilience through controlled melting and institutional heat stroke.]
Here's the entire European air-conditioning debate summed up:
AMERICA: It's raining, take an umbrella.
EUROPE: There are unintended consequences of taking an umbrella. If we refuse to do it and somehow convince China and India and the rest of the world to forego umbrellas also, maybe it won't rain so much in 50 years. I'm going to die now.
It's truly amazing. We've invented a technology that can literally save lives and these people act like it's a badge of honor to suffer without it. Look at British TV. A woman actually has justify that she shouldn't have to roast alive in her home while pregnant and asks the Climate Cult's forgiveness for her use of air-conditioning.
