It seems like stuff like this is done to filter the kind of person they'll accept as a police officer. If you will sit through racist and perverted nonsense like this, then they know you will be loyal to the system when it comes to crack down on 'unacceptable' political views and protesters and to facilitate the 'acceptable' ones. Or at the very least you won't think for yourself and do what you're told.
