Since diversity has been claimed to be our strength, I feel sure that
the bodies governing all sports will soon be establishing quotas to
ensure that all teams have their fair share of diverse players. I can
hardly wait until they mandate set percentages of midget basketball
players, obese gymnasts, crippled soccer players, blind goalies, etc.

I guess I can see why a man LARPing as a woman would tend to avoid sperm donation. It wouldn't be a gender-affirming experience.

Back during the last winter Olympics, the talking heads were aghast at the sight of the Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish ski teams and the Canadidian curling team because they were all white. Not a black face among them. They were getting the vapors and speculating on what can be done to address this atrocity, with one of them notably saying that an all-white team was "not a good look".

But now here we are in the midst of another world-wide sporting tournament, where many of the teams are all-black and all-latino and no one seems to have
a problem with it. Even the Scandinavian teams have a significant black percentage of players. Certainly no one is running for the fainting couch over the sight of a soccer team without even one white face on it, no one's saying that's not a good look, or speculating as to what steps can be taken to
address this horrible situation.

...and I'm pleased to say that, afaics, it failed.
