A foreign man was culturally enriching Dublin by wandering around with
his pants to his ankles when a civilian confronted him and told him to
pull his pants up. A verbal and then physical confrontation ensued. Then
a female garda (what the Irish call their police) arrived to deal with
the man standing in his underwear. She's very lucky she didn't get
severely beaten as she tried to control the suspect.

She might well have been seriously injured if male passersby hadn't
jumped in to help her. Police backup only arrived several minutes after
the miscreant had been subdued.
I have to agree with the presenter of the video: what the heck was she
doing working alone? Who trained her and what were they thinking,
sending her up against this troublemaker, who was at least 6 inches
taller with only pepper spray? And why was she so close to him when she finally used the spray?
