Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey team up
in Apple TV's new comedy series "Brothers"
-----------------------------------------------
A decades-old family secret threatens to unravel a lifelong
friendship in "Brothers," set to premiere on Apple TV in
September.
The series follows fictionalized versions of McConaughey
and Harrelson, a pair of lifelong best friends. After
Woody's daughter's wedding falls apart, he turns to Matthew
for comfort, only to find out from Matthew's mother that
the pair may actually be related.
While Woody will do anything to uncover the truth, Matthew
finds himself navigating a different kind of identity
crisis: running for Governor of Texas.
"Brothers" will make its way to the small screen on
Wednesday, September 23, with its first two episodes. After
that, one new episode will air every Wednesday through
November 4, 2026.
The series also stars Nolan Almeida, Noah Carganilla, Ella
Grace Helton, Brittany Ishibashi, Highdee Kuan, Natalie
Martinez, Holland Taylor, and Oona Yaffe. The series is
showrun and executive produced by multi-Emmy Award nominee
and Peabody Award winner Lee Eisenberg.
"Brothers" joins other Apple TV comedies, such as recently
renewed "Shrinking."
Another Apple TV comedy, "The Studio," became the first
comedy, ever, to sweep all major awards in a single season.
