There SHOULD be outrage to the Nowak case - even if the murderer is
correct, 'racist language' is not a capital offence in any
jurisdiction I know of and most CERTAINLY not when it's done by
someone other than a state official.
In the immediate aftermath of Nowak's murder by Vickrum Digwa I
advocated a life sentence with no right of visitation by family
members, a FIRM life sentence without right to apply for parole and
most of all that when he eventually leaves this world (as we all will eventually) that he be buried in an unmarked grave in the prison yard
and that no member of his family be allowed to visit him either before
or after his passing. Instead he got life imprisonment with a 20 year
ban on ability to apply for parole. Which for an aggravated case of
1st degree murder is just plain wrong.
