opponent, incumbent Mayor Karen Bass.

popular acronym that stands for ofear of missing out.o

In the AI-generated ad, people representing citizens of Los Angeles
complain that odangerous Spencer Pratto will odestroy their way of life.o

oI make a living giving drug needles to unhoused individuals and Spencer
wants to put me out of the job,o a man in a truck complains.

oSpencer wants to force me to get treatment and turn my life around
instead of dying on the streets. What kind of bully forces people to do things?o says another man as he injects himself on the street.

A mom jogging with a crying toddler while being chased by two men says,
oAs a busy mom, running away from crazy drug addicts in our park is the
only exercise I get. Spencer wants to get rid of them. Does he want me to
be fat?o

oA vote for Spencer is a vote for change,o a man with a crying girl
standing in front of the burning city insists. oWhy would you vote for
change when everything is fine? Stay the course with Karen Bass,o he adds before turning to the crying child and saying, oSmile, dammit!o

It ends with a photo of Bass and Fidel Castro in an intimate embrace and
the caption, oDonAt take the bait a stay the course with Bass!o

Just like all the others, the ad is gaining major traction on social
media, with viewers encouraging Pratt to keep it up.

oThese are so great; I could watch them all day,o one person said.

oI wish I lived in LA so I could vote for you,o another commenter agreed.

Even real ads put out by PrattAs leftist opponents have backfired. One ad sponsored by L.A. Unions Opposed to Spencer Pratt for Mayor 2026 and the
Los Angeles County Federation of Labor AFL-CIO laid out a number of things that Pratt has either supported or opposed. But this attack ad
accidentally painted him as an entirely reasonable person.

oRepublican Spencer Pratt is the last thing Los Angeles needs for mayor,o
the voiceover began. oPratt opposes using taxpayer money to build brand
new houses for our unhoused neighbors, saying itAs time for the homeless
to get help or get out. Pratt thinks L.A. needs thousands more police
officers rather than more social workers.o

oAnd Republican Spencer Pratt thinks public employee unions should have
less power, not more,o the ad continued. oL.A. is on the right track and
needs to stay the course. Vote no on Republican Spencer Pratt.o

Pratt responded to the ad, saying, oWait. Unions are mad that I want firefighters and city workers to get better pay and safer working
conditions? What are they actually a for?o

Pratt is set to face incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and far-Left Councilwoman Nithya Raman in the June 2 mayoral primary.
