The Drew Carey Show was a classic, yet it's never found in reruns. I
watched a video yesterday which explained that this is because of the
music. TDCS did a lot with music, with musical numbers as opening
credits, occasionally inserting musical numbers into the show, and
Drew's character had a band for a while. The video said that all seasons >except the first are hopelessly tied up in legal battles over the song >rights, and so it can't be syndicated or released on DVDs.
That's a real shame. A lot of people love that show.
I never see Cybill reruns, either. I've searched a few times over the
years, and it's never anywhere. It was popular at the time, so maybe
it's also tied up in legal knots.

That doesn't seem to be the case since checking on the availability
shows that for free you can watch it on
Tubi
Xumo Play
Pluto
The Roku Channel
Plex
and then for $ you can watch it on
Amazon Prime
Fandango
Apple TV
Youtube
That's quite a few places for a show supposedly tied up in rights
issues.

Cybil appears to be available on fuboTV with a subscription.
Apparently not as popular as the Drew Carey Show.
