South Carolina Supreme Court grants Alex Murdaugh a new trial, ruling
that court clerk influenced the jury.

They also disallowed the evidence of bilking clients, for which he is
under federal sentence. I'm really confused as I thought this was the prosecution's theory of the case, that there was a financial motive
behind the murders of his family.
