This was how NBC reported the news that Kyle Rittenhouse was hospitalized
after being bitten by a venomous spider:

"Kyle Rittenhouse, who gained fame for opening fire at a 2020 civil rights rally in Wisconsin, was hospitalized after he was bitten by a venomous spider, the noted firearms enthusiast says."

Yes, one of our allegedly 'highly-respected' legacy major media news organizations has chosen to describe a BLM riot that in just the span of two days caused more than $50 million in property damage, including an arson
attack that destroyed a used car dealership and its 100 vehicles, the destruction of several city-owned garbage trucks, the fire-bombing of the county courthouse and the ransacking of a big box retail store/supermarket... as a civil rights rally.

The county declared a state of emergency and the national guard was deployed for this 'civil rights rally'.

And of course the way they described Rittenhouse makes him seem like a crazy active shooter attacking a peaceful gathering. (You know, like what actually happened to Charlie Kirk by a deranged leftist.) You certainly don't get any idea from NBC that he acted in self-defense after being set upon by leftist thugs who beat him with clubs and that he was acquitted of all wrongdoing by a jury of his peers.

This is how the media re-writes history to hide the ugly truths of violent radical leftism. Five years from now, there will be purple-haired nose-ringed activists who will insist that the Wisconsin riots were just a civil rights rally because they heard it on the news and the news can be trusted. Hell, the lie will probably be incorporated into textbooks and learning modules taught
to kids in public schools. And one of the ugliest and most violent periods of leftism-out-of-control in this nation's history will effectively be
transformed into some kind of heroic Rosa Parks moment.

You don't hate the media enough.

The 17-year-old aggressive twerp was spoiling for a fight and provoked
those three people he killed/shot as far as I'm concerned. The fact
that someone his age was running around with an AR-15 style rifle is a
sad commentary on American society in general. His killing spree in
Wisconsin is going to be the first line in his obituary 60 years from
now and then you can bitch about that too (if you're still around).

The looting, vandalism, and arson were mostly peaceful.

Didn't one of the mostly-peaceful protestors beat a businessman to death
in Kenosha, or am I thinking of somewhere else?

Kyle Rittenhouse, who gained fame for opening fire at a 2020 civil
rights rally in Wisconsin, was hospitalized after a venomous spider bit
him, the noted firearms enthusiast said Wednesday.

Rittenhouse, 23, told his 100,000 followers on X that he fell victim to
a brown recluse, posting pictures of himself in a hospital bed strapped
to monitors with one close-up shot of the bite mark.

rCLThe spider, like the commies, also thought it was a good idea to come
after me while I was armed,rCY Rittenhouse posted. rCLHe did not survive.rCY

Rittenhouse appeared to be in good spirits, joking that his only disappointment was that rCLIrCOm not Spider-Man now.rCY

He did not say exactly when or where the spider attack happened.

RittenhouserCOs post, predictably, drew thousands of responses rCo a mix of support and mockery.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., was among the first and highest-profile
well-wishers, telling Rittenhouse rCLyou got this.rCY

rCLThank you, Senator,rCY Rittenhouse responded Thursday.

Others came at him with body-shaming ridicule, which the shirtless,
stout Rittenhouse didnrCOt appear to respond to.

Rittenhouse became a household name in late summer 2020 after he fatally
shot two men and wounded a third during civil unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

So you concede they attacked him first, but you're just blaming the victim for his own attack-- something leftists usually insist is something you should never do.

    His killing spree in Wisconsin

You apparently have a spectacularly different definition of 'killing spree' than the rest of the English-speaking world.

It's lovely that you are so concerned. In fact, the prosecution utterly
lacked evidence that he was the provocateur, that the several people who attacked him did so because he had pointed his rifle at anyone or had
egged them on with fighting words. They went into court with evidence
similar to what Price goes into court with every Thursday night.

Juries know when they are beihg used as political tools and don't like
it, Rittenhouse was overcharged. Perhaps there was evidence of a lesser
charge he might have been convicted of, but the political pressure was
to convict him of second-degree murder, which was not sustainable.

The fact that someone his age was running around with an AR-15 style

It's curious that you have no observation that the arson, vandalism,
looting, and general violence being committed by the Kenosha mob wasn't
a sad commentary on American society in general. Can you please explain
your willful ignorance of all the other felonies that had been taking
place in Kenosha before Rittenhouse made the decision to travel there?

Have you suddenly become a Trump supporter? Since Biden failed to make
Kenosha a pivotal moment in the presidential campaign, Trump had one
last opportunity to save his re-election campaign if only he'd taken a
moment to act presidential instead of just playing to his base. Kenosha
was Trump's very last opportunity to save his campaign, but he blew it
big time after Biden gave him that huge opening. Biden never wanted to
go to Kenosha and grab the moment for himself.
