2026-2027 TV Season. Among these news shows, some big names, like
Jake Johnson and Jamie Lee Curtis, are also featured.

What shows has NBC ordered for the 2026-2027 television season?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC's lineup for the 2026-27

investigator, Rockford uses his charm and wit to solve cases in
Los Angeles. "It doesn't take long for his quest for legitimacy to
land him squarely in the crosshairs of both local police and
    organized crime."

NBC drama Line of Fire's cast includes Peter Krause, Hope Davis, Kat
Cunning, Tommy O'Brien, Taylor Bloom, and Charlie Barnett. The series
is created by Josh Safran, who serves as both writer and executive
producer, with Jenna Bush Hager and Ben Spector also on board as

There is no reason why this show should find an audience. Boreanaz is
    miscast.

Quest for legitimacy? Most weeks, Rockford just wanted enough cash to
    keep his bills paid.

He's no longer a felon who had been pardoned?

NBC drama Line of Fire's cast includes Peter Krause, Hope Davis, Kat
Cunning, Tommy O'Brien, Taylor Bloom, and Charlie Barnett. The series

Does police blue run through their veins?

NBC's comedy slate also includes Sunset P.I., a new series led by
Jake Johnson, with Jane Levy, Langston Kerman, Mary Shalaby, and Keith
David rounding out the main cast. According to NBC's logline, Sunset

    bonk

There were light-hearted adaptations of Philip Marlowe on radio but the
    novels were hard-boiled crime fiction.

The second new comedy is Jamie Lee Curtis' Newlyweds, a rom-com where
    she appears in recurring roles.

"Roles"? Is this an anthology series?

cast members. The network describes it as a "later-in-life love story

The second new comedy is Jamie Lee Curtis' Newlyweds, a rom-com where
    she appears in recurring roles.

"Roles"? Is this an anthology series?

    Maybe she plays twins.

I checked another source, and it doesn't sound like an anthology. This
page says that she appears "a recurring guest star" rather than as
    plural roles.
