    What did you watch?

I watched the replay of the second California gubernatorial debate, which was broadcast by CNN, but which they paywalled so it was nowhere on YouTube like the first debate on CBS was. I eventually found obscure two guys with a barely-watched streaming channel that had live-streamed the debate the night before, so I got to see it, but I had to endure the commentary of two of the dumbest communists I've ever encountered as it played.

Bacerra came across the worst. His answer to literally every question-- and
I'm not exaggerating for effect-- was to either blame Trump or boast about how many times he sued Trump during his failed tenure as CA attorney general.
Yeah, Havy, almost $100 billion in tax fraud went out the door under your nose and you did literally nothing about it, but boy did you waste a lot of public time and resources unsuccessfully suing Trump dozens of times. Well done!

Katie Porter (Mrs. Potatohead) lost it a couple of times, showing that the seething rage bubbling beneath the surface that she's become famous for is still there. Even when she was calm and collected, she had the vibe of that
one humorless teacher that everyone had in grade school who was always giving everyone dirty looks and handing out detentions. If we have to endure a Democrat winner, I almost hope it's her because she's almost guaranteed to
lose her shit on a regular basis over the course of her term and that will be comedy gold.

Of the two Republicans, Hilton came across as the more professional, with well-thought, logical, and detailed plans for how to address the cornucopia of disasters the Democrats have created in this state. The real question is that even if he wins, how much can he really do with a legislature that will block literally everything he tries just because.

Tony Villar, the former mayor of L.A., should just quit but I'm glad he hasn't because he's still serving a purpose by splitting the Democrat vote.

That leaves billionaire Steyer, a 'progressive' nutcase whose status as a billionaire strangely doesn't seem to disqualify him among Democrats as an existential threat to humanity the way they treat every other billionaire and Mahan, the Buttigieg-like mayor of San Jose, who's the most moderate of all
the Democrats in the race, or at least that's the way he's acting.

I don't think Mahan has a chance and since Steyer is by far the craziest of
all the candidates, he's the one the lunatic voters in California will
    probably end up electing.

I did enjoy it when Tony Villar went after Bacerra about the police probe into Bacerra's misuse of campaign funds and since Villar is a fellow hispanic, Bacerra seemed lost and adrift without his ability to throw the race card up
    as a shield.

Likewise, it was amusing when Bacerra made some comment about being the only one on stage who can say they're from a family of immigrants and Hilton piped up and pointed out that not only was he from a family of immigrants, he's an immigrant himself. The sour look on Bacerra's face as Hilton stole his oppression points from him was hilarious. You just know Bacerra wanted to say, "Yeah, but you don't count because you're white."

MONARCH LEGACY OF MONSTERS season two

I am months behind on everything and I started my catch-up by binge
watching this. I love me some Kurt Russell. ItrCOs a bit confusing with so
many pretty girls that look alike playing each other in different time
zones. And the monsters were pre-computery. Still it was a good show and
    worth watching.

    NCIS.
Somehow CBS has managed to block this even on the gray web.

Amazon managed to completely change the fire stick interface, and I have to learn my way around it again.

AIRWOLF, the lost episode. Season three episode seven, EAGLES, does not
appear on the Blu-ray or any streaming service for reasons unknown. I
managed to track this down on the gray. I still havenrCOt flown the radio controlled Airwolf toy. I got for Christmas.

    What did you watch?

I finished s2 of Only Murders in the Building, and I really enjoyed it.
Like the s1 finale, the s2 finale crashes into the next season by
showing a new murder and a new bizarre concatenation of circumstances.
I'll catch up to the present soon, but at least they're still making
    this one.

If you think it was confusing with season two just wait till next
season. I'm expecting it to get even more confusing.

    NCIS.

I'm behind on most of this season of the NCIS series. Just got out of
the habit but I'm still recording every episode so I'll get to it
    eventually.

AIRWOLF, the lost episode. Season three episode seven, EAGLES, does not >appear on the Blu-ray or any streaming service for reasons unknown. I

Youtube and started some shows and movies, but ended up pausing each.
So the commentary can wait till tomorrow.. Oh wait.. I have one show I
can talk about that I watched months ago and wrote up the review but
    never posted it.

    CLASS OF '09 Season 1 Episode 8

As usual it turns out that powerful people like to hold themselves
above the law. So there are a group of people who have been excluded
from the system and can never be considered suspects by the system.
Presumably meaning they could go out in the middle of 5th Avenue and
shoot someone and the system wouldn't consider them a suspect. Tayo is
told that it's the price for keeping the system running. He's also
told that if he is willing to stick with that idea he can have his
    boss's job.

We get an overview of how the system has changed society. From
starting out by going after violent criminal, then white collar
criminals then student drug dealers then people who might commit
crimes. With people protesting the system and how it behaves and
people moving out of the city to get away from the constant
    surveillance.

Then we move to the future again to see the new Director, Warren,
overseeing the system going after people it sees as a potential threat
like Vivienne. She's being arrested for promoting ideas that go
against the system in her new unpublished book.

Great show that is well worth watching.

Oh, I forgot that I did watch SURVIVOR which was a great episode. One
of the best episodes of the season except the twist they pulled of
dividing the few players left into two groups that each had their own
tribal. Much more has been written over on the Survivor newsgroup.

No, that means that speech to text screwed up and I said very computery or something like that.
