Please do not apologize for the mine calculation. It?s important for
people to have an idea just how inconceivably massive space actually
is. Modern Trek clearly won?t do that.
I didn't do math, but I read on YouTube that it would require about 75 octillion mines to pen in the quadrant. That seems more plausible than "hundreds."
