I have a question maybe Arthur can answer. Back around episode three or
four they were off in a nebula. For no reason that I could tell. They just
took the whole Academy and visited a nebula. It didnrCOt impact the story in anyway. It wasnrCOt a field trip. They just went across the galaxy. For no reason. Was there any possible point to that?

Are you talking about when Captain Mumbles mused about atoms just happening
to be at the same place to form it? That was their third "first trip" in
space and was at the begining of the 4th ep.

So why did they go into space at all?

By the way, one of the many reels that Starfleet Academy is posting trying
to convince people itrCOs worth watching is Captain mumbles saying that the reason she wanted to do the show was because she loved the mustard yellow command uniforms from the original series. I tried to share it, but I couldnrCOt. I suspect they may have pulled it because it went against the politically correct notion that the uniforms were green.

It's not it would be harder to have holodeck classes.

I thought Kirk's uniform was yellow, or maybe gold. He did wear a greenish in the latter eps, tho.
