  • Starfleet Academy is Offensive to the Actual Starfleet

    On to episode 4 of Starfleet Academy, where once again any semblance of
    plot or action slips through our fingers. And now a new point of
    irritation has popped up: Are we actually going to learn anything at
    Starfleet Academy? Maybe navigation, bioengineering, cultural studies, negotiations... nah, that's too complicated for a Starfleet officer!
    We'll stick to dirty jokes and keep the bar as low as possible at this
    daycare in space (on Earth). On the plus side, I'm now going back and
    watching original Star Trek (TNG), so that's something...

    [I find it sad that someone who has only seen a few eps of the classic
    _Star Trek_ show can see how little this show has to do with Star Trek.
    Yes, _Star Trek (0210_ is THAT bad. ]
