Indeed there is a lot more to that rather poetic
book. I wish we could expect soft rains this winter or
even this summer and autumn but more likely it will be
like the recent Winters, Springs, Summers, and Autumns.
Windy with a chance of floods and many inches of Snow.
But here in the City of San Francisco we may
before long feel the fury of the unbalanced climate
which we have largely been spared to now.
Presently though 65-# at 11:11. Winds of 3-5 MPH.
Meantime to the North, South and East
we have wildfires in California.

Heck, it was 52F (11C) yesterday when I woke up in
the santa clara valley. Reached 91F (33C) by mid-afternoon
and back into the 60's by 8pm. RH 25%. Rather
comfortable out of the direct sun during the
heat of the day with a mild afternoon sea breeze.
Meantime to the North, South and East
we have wildfires in California.
All small and all under control except for
yesterday's Gann fire. Mostly remote
areas, and few, if any, structure losses.

A story that stays with you for a long time.
I finally looked the title's origin. Its a poem from 1918 by Sara
