Star Trek The Next Generation actor Wil Wheaton posed outside Trump
Tower in June 2026 and posted a statement on social media that Fandom
Pulse describes as potentially warranting FBI involvement rCo the latest
in a pattern of escalating anti-Trump posts from Wheaton and other Star
Trek Discovery cast members including Wilson Cruz. With Star Trek
actors increasingly making extreme political statements while Paramount needs conservative audiences to subscribe to Paramount Plus, the
ongoing behavior raises serious questions about the franchise's
relationship with half its potential audience.
