    STORY LINE (in english):
    'Friedhelm Sacher, a-asales representative-ain women's apparel, is 'looking for social entertainment after a good business deal to escape the loneliness of his hotel room.-a-aSince it was already just slightly too late, Sacher could not bring the daily income of several thousand Deutschmarks to the bank.-a The narrarators note several circumstances.-a-aWhy does Sacher have most of the money still in his wallet or is more still stashed in his hotel?-a-a
    In the-aBremen train station restaurant', -aFriedhelm, with his tie still on tight, meets 'three men: Michael Puczek working on fairgrounds, Kurt Westhoff, a hired seaman and Wolfgang Henning, a backup waiter.-a-aSacher gets along with them' right 'away - although they all seem a bit dodgy - not least because he is extraordinarily generous that evening.'-a Ferocious partying with his tie always tied still on tight, music and alcohol all flow 'freely and while the four move from bar to bar most of the night and the atmosphere becomes more and more exuberant.
    The next day Sacher is found dead and robbed on the bank of a lake, but near some type of a restaurant.-a-aThis is when 'chief inspector-aB||ck-abegins-awith grueling investigative work.-a-aSacher's identity remains unclear at first because he is a series of bloated morbid dead body photographs and he had no identification with him and wasn't known in the area.-a-aThe only thing left for the officials to do is to publish a picture of him and hope for witnesses.-a 'Only gradually do people get in touch who remember Sacher and his companions, but' their 'statements do not yet bring a breakthrough, until:-a("Did you hear anything last night?", rCLNo, i've never seen himrCY, immediately followed by: "Yes, I know him, he lives in room four"). After' 'arduous investigations, a narrator says that after five leads, then its been a good night for investigators.-a
    So, later, police did visit a the dead man's apartment building where one lady says she doesn't know Sacher and has never seen him and looks at them as they are leaving the building almost studying them as if she is curious, somehow.-a Then they ask a cleaning lady right after about the photo and she says she certainly knows of him and in fact, he lives there - in room number four.-a Sacher's son and wife are sadly notified.
    'These 'traces ultimately lead to' a nightclub where a young man yells out: "", and then the loud music stops, as if something illegally going on should suddenly stop, then the police suddenly enter.-a The music then re-starts and questions are asked.-a Was-ainspector-aB||ck's-awallet even pick-pocketed while there?-a
    At a restaurant with other police and a journalist, B||ck quickly leaves and they all go to Puczek's employer and asks around and make an arrest after a small pursuit. 'The arrest of Puczek, Westhoff and Henning occurs, but the actual course of events cannot be reconstructed.'-a A lifelong battle to stay out of jail engulfs the three' who were so drunk that they couldn't remember anything for certain, yet 'they accuse each other....'
